Clothing for the Gargantuan Girl

Always being big chested, now moreso than ever before, basic clothing, ie, tops, blouses, brassieres, have always been a challenge. Why? Because, honestly, the fashion and clothing industry doesn't necessarily accommodate the EXTRA SIZED gal. I know more and more stores are putting stuff out there for the PLUS SIZED of us, and that is super kewlio. But still, for those of us with the slightly odd body shapes on top or bottom or both... good luck finding something off the shelf or off the rack that fits. Or perhaps it fits but doesn't fit like it should. And like trying to wear undersized shoes on your feet and walking around, wrong sized undergarments and tops can be the same thing.... A PAIN.

Besides being extremely blessed with extremely ginormous breasts, I have also been very fortunate that my mother had a old high school friend who was a seamstress and this fine lady has been doing my alterations for tops and custom brassieres for years now.

If I am "muffintopping" my current bras because these darn things are a bit bigger, I can go to "Mrs B.," get myself measured up in every glorious over-oversized angle, she does a rough design sketch, gets my thumbs up, and creates a new boulder holder for yours truly. When done and tried on and good, my pocketbook gets a bit moreso drained BUT I have something wearable, that support "the girls" and no one is looking at me like I am trying to harness a couple balloons in my top.

Same with tops, blouses, etc.: I can go to a big girl store like Lane Bryant or similar, find something I like, buy and bring it to her, and she'll do her alteration magic to make it fit over these jutting oversized bosoms. YAY! All ends up right in the world. LOL

That's about it for this time around.

Remember to be nice to each other and always THINK BIG.
